Just a quick note to my blog readers, WordPress 2.8.2 has been released. The reason for the update was WordPress discovered 2.8.1 had a security leak in it which could allow malicious hackers get into your blog.
Taken from WordPress.org:
WordPress 2.8.2 fixes an XSS vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site.
You can download the latest version of WordPress here.
If you don’t know how to upgrade, WP Blog Host has the following video tutorials. I also provide this service for $50, by the way.

I couldn’t agree with you more, Vered. In fact, they are happen so much that we are considering reworking many parts of our site into static html pages. If there’s no comment section, there’s no real need for it to run on WordPress.
